2011 marks King of Prussia Veterinary Hospital's 55th year serving the veterinary needs of the community. We want to thank all our wonderful clients for giving us the opportunity to care for their pets over the years and we look forward to continuing that relationship for many years to come.

King of Prussia Veterinary Hospital is a full service, AAHA certified hospital. The hospital opened in 1956 and has continued to provide King of Prussia and surrounding communities with the highest quality in Veterinary Medical care in a friendly, relaxed setting.

King of Prussia Veterinary Hospital offers a full range of veterinary services. In addition to complete medical work-ups, surgical and dental procedures we have in-house laboratory facilities which allow us to obtain valuable information about your pet's condition, often within minutes.     Dr. George Jeitles

    Dr. George Jeitles is a 1979 graduate of The University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to his veterinary degree, Dr. Jeitles holds a Bachelors degree from Roanoke College and a Masters degree from West Chester University.

    Dr. Jeitles and his wife Michelle have been married for over 40 years and have four children. The eldest, Jennifer ( Dr. Clarke) followed in her Father's footsteps becoming a veterinarian in 1999.

    In addition to being an avid golfer, Dr. Jeitles and his wife have been active in breeding and showing Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers and Norwich Terriers for over 18 years. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of American and has held various offices, including President, in the Delaware Valley Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club. In the past he has served as health chairman for the Norwich and Norfolk Terrier Club of America and  the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of America.

    Dr. Jeitles is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, The American Animal Hospital Association, The Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association, and is a charter member of the Delaware Valley Academy of Veterinary Medicine.

    Dr. Jennifer Clarke

    Dr. Jennifer Clarke is a 1999, summa cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine.  She received her bachelor of art degree from Dartmouth College, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa in 1995.  Dr. Clarke is married and has two children, four cats and a dog.

    Dr. Clarke is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Assocation and the Delaware Valley Academy of Veterinary Medicine.

    Katherine A. de Jong D.V.M.

    Dr. Katherine de Jong graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She completed her training in veterinary acupuncture through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture and the International Association of Veterinary Chiropractitioners. Dr. de Jong is available by appointment for accupuncture and chiropractic consultations and treatments.

    'chelle and Mary Ellen head our front office staff. You likely will talk to one of them when you call for an appointment and they will be the first to greet you when you arrive.

    Denise

    Denise is a certified veterinary technician who has been with King of Prussia Veterinary Hospital since 1979. She is an avid sports fan, especially when it comes to watching her son play high school football and competing in martial arts. Other interests include photography and breeding/showing Great Danes. Currently she is loved by one dane, Roody and a cat named Donovan.

    Michelle is a veterinary assistant who has been with us for 8 years. Michelle has a dog, Nala and two cats named Leah and Nessie. In adition to her assistant duties she often fills in at the reception desk.

    Amy

    Amy is a veterinary assistant and has been a member of our team since 1999. In her spare time Amy enjoys employing her artistic talents which you will see around the hospital on bulletin boards, cage cards, etc. Amy grew up in King of Prussia and seems to know just about everyone in town.If you want to know who's who just ask Amy.
